The Problem
Duralock supplies high-quality fencing solutions and equestrian barriers to 41countries and the main horse racing tracks in the UK including Aintree and Cheltenham.
Over a period of five or six years, Duralock worked with several suppliers, but were unable to find the right fit.
Faced with ongoing issues with disruption to supply, Duralock recognised VEKA’s extrusion
expertise and decided to have a conversation.
The Solution
Discussions proved successful, and together we agreed a plan.
Step One
A dedicated project team made arrangements to begin extrusion using existing Duralock tools.
Step Two
Secondary operations such as drilling, routing and gluing commenced.
Step Three
Owing to the success of the partnership, decisions are now being made to future?proof business and ensure security of supply for the future. This includes new tooling and recycling solutions.
